Sanders’ Quiz Nights

I think we all have people in our lives whom we call ‘aunty’, even though they’re not really our aunty. One of my mum’s oldest friends, Gill, is one of those people, and in the last four years she has also been one of our most committed supporters. Gill and her husband, David, have held three quiz night evenings which have included live music, raffles and auctions in a superb local restaurant. Gill has also been quite relentless in her pursuit of her friends and contacts to join our fight, and has said to me that she can’t understand why anyone wouldn’t want to support us!

Gill and David’s events have raised £7,000 and a huge amount of awareness. Huge thanks to the Sanders family and their generous, patient friends 😉
